![]() ![]() Also, I ask because I'm on a Mac and have had nothing but trouble with my MXO2LE for video. They're the same preamps on their top of the line mixers and interfaces.Īlso, are you on a Mac or PC? I ask because the Mackie has been reviewed much more positively on a Mac because of PC driver issues so if you're on PC I'd send you towards maybe an M-Audio Mobile Pre II for the same price. I completely agree that the MXO2 should be able to be used as a monitoring solution, but when it comes to input, the Mackie Onyx Blackjack is awesome at $150 with great mic preamps. If it is, I would feel uncomfortable using the MXO2LE for voiceover without Mic level and direct gain control on the preamps. I may be wrong and welcome correction but I'm pretty sure that's the case. I believe also that the MXO2LE's XLR inputs are Line level only, not Mic level and I don't think that they would Phantom Power. We currently do not support Audition for audio voice-overs. A few extra steps but it gets the job done.īy all means, please make a post in the "Feature Requests" section and add weight to the importance of extending support to Audition. I then export the audio to a WAV file and bring it in to Audition. To ingest audio, I do a video capture with any video signal coupled with the audio that I am wanting. Unfortunately, Audition isn't officially supported for the MXO2. How can I get Adobe Audition to recognize the XLR inputs of the MX02 LE so I can record voice overs? Is this possible? I opened Adobe Audition CS5.1 and it's not recognizing the Matrox MX02 as an audio device. I have all my analog and HD components all working great together. I've got my MX02 LE working fantastically for video.
